I do not have fixed prices on any of the services provided here – mainly because I am flexible on what I charge. It depends on a host of factors including depending on who the person is, their ability to pay, their particular requirements, my own workload at that time, my own willingness to help etc. At any given time, the opportunity cost of my time varies and my pricing will reflect this. Equally, a key reason for creating this website was to level the playing field between state schools and independent schools, and thus I openly adopt a policy of price discrimination in favour of state school pupils. At the heart of my vision is that everyone should get access to high quality Economics tutoring, or guidance – independent of wealth. So get in touch, and we can discuss fees later!

In certain circumstances, I am open to this. Get in touch and if the fees are a real issue, then fear not - I am sure I will be able to offer some guidance or at least a one off session to get you started, for FREE! That's just the kind, generous spirit I am! :)

I prefer face to face tutoring as I believe it is more engaging and you get more bang for your buck. However, if distance is an issue, I am happy to do tutoring over Skype. Distance wise, I am happy to travel for an hour from where I am based - which is currently Cambridge. (So London is included in this). Equally, I am happy to receive you at our family home in North Cambridge. Note: where the commuting distance is significant (over 30 minutes) for me, I will have to adjust the price to cover my costs, so in terms of tutoring, Skype will be the cheapest option, followed by tutoring in Cambridge, followed by me commuting to London.

Simple answer: NO. NEVER. PLEASE DON'T ASK. More complex answer: YOU WILL BE FAILED FROM YOUR A-LEVELS / DEGREE IF YOU SUBMIT WORK THAT IS NOT YOUR OWN... A much better idea is for me to teach you the Economics, to use me as a sounding board for ideas, and to run ideas by me so I can give you a nudge in the right direction.
