Welcome to Access Economics. Economists like to make simple things complex. The raison d'etre behind my services are that I believe in doing the opposite - Economics should be accessible to the many, not just the few. Whether you would like regular, structured assistance with your GCSEs/A-level/IB/degree, or whether you would like one-off guidance in your Oxbridge university assistance or beyond, my aim is to guide you through any difficulties you are having with the subject.
You can learn more about my background here but in short, it is my strong belief, based on over 15 years of economics experience, that any person of any age and academic ability can be taught to understand most economics concepts. Certainly all of them up to A-level/IB. All it takes is a mixture of patience, focus, and a good teacher.
With Access Economics, my aim was to make a service available whereby anybody could have access to an experienced Economics teacher, who is adept at turning C's into B's and A's, but equally skilled at challenging and stretching the top end to aim for A*'s or Oxbridge places.
